KARMAGEDON
An Interactive Experiment with Soul (and Bones)
An Interactive Experiment with Soul (and Bones)
Karmagedon is a simple game with a very peculiar protagonist: a sarcastic skull who definitely doesn’t hold back inspired by the classic humor of Monkey Island or Day of the Tentacle.
This first playable prototype is just an initial Q&A test, but it helped me explore the character, basic hover and click reactions, sound effects, and setting the right mood. For now, you can only answer two questions, but the idea is to expand the experience with mini-games and interactive elements you can move, drag, or activate...everything wrapped in surreal logic and a lot of dark humor.
Beyond the content, this project is my personal creative lab, where I’ve been experimenting with tools like Spline, combining 3D, motion design, UI, typography, lettering, and sound into one cohesive, fully interactive experience.
The background music (temporary!) is “borrowed” from a Pixar movie—any guesses?
You’ll also find a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the creative process, alternative logo sketches, and a 3D scene built in Spline that brings the world of Karmagedon to life.

Behind the scenes
The game was mainly built using Spline, which allowed me to create an interactive and immersive experience directly in the browser. However, the skull character graphics and the main titles were originally designed and rendered in Cinema 4D, giving them a more detailed 3D look before integrating them into the scene.
