Stranger Things
(ANIMATED SERIES)
Super happy to have been part of creating the initial sketches for the new Netflix series 'Stranger Things: Tales from '85'. Initially, different titles were considered, such as 'Stranger Things: Awakening', 'The Missing Chapters', or 'Hawkins Investigators Club' (which inspires the name of the club Dustin creates in the series).
Flying Bark, led by Eric Robles and Rachel Richmond, was the production company in charge of the animated series. They were also responsible for this stage of the project and contacted me to develop the title sequences. Although in the end, Netflix proposed a new name and outsourced the title design to another company.
Still, I feel incredibly honored to have worked on these initial concepts, as well as participating in the creation of the H.I.C. logo. This is the logo Dustin wears on his cap in the series, representing the Hawkins Investigators Club mentioned across several episodes. To prevent the logo from standing out too much and distracting from the action on screen, it was ultimately simplified.
