Flamongo Covers
Flamongo is a music producer from a wooded glen on the outskirts of Toronto. He has spent a good amount of time within the bass scene, honing his dj/live production skills in various nightclubs (Guvernment, Oshawa Music Hall) and music festivals (Sled Island, Calgary). Gearing up for his first rap release, the 23 year old has already enlisted to help of Aktiv (Former Songwriting/production partner of The Weekend), to beef up the projects.
In an early step of the project we thought to make some lenticular prints for the cover. That is an awesome way to print out so you can see two different artwork in the same print just moving a bit the physical print. The effect would be something like the gif below. Finally we went for the 'pink version' for the cover and the 'black one' for the CD itself, but I'm still loving the combination effect.
